About PKM-1

One Crop, Covered in Depth

PKM-1 is a moringa brand and a working journal. The Moringa Report, our journal, covers the crop end to end: cultivation, processing, markets, science, and trade. Articles are researched, fact-checked, cited to primary sources, and never paid for. When we recommend a product, the recommendation is clearly labeled and our affiliate relationships are disclosed.

Honest Editorial

Coverage is never for sale.

No one can buy their way into our articles. What the journal covers, it covers because it matters to the industry. Commerce lives in clearly labeled recommendations, kept separate from reporting, with affiliate relationships disclosed on our Editorial Standards page.

Supply Chain Ethics

A cleaner moringa trade.

We actively cover ethical sourcing, fair grower prices, certification integrity, and supply chain transparency. We believe the moringa trade is better when it operates with accountability at every level, from smallholder farm to finished product.

Actionable Intelligence

For professionals, by professionals.

Our readership includes moringa growers, processors, exporters, ingredient buyers, product formulators, and regulatory professionals. We write for people who need accurate, current intelligence to make real decisions.

What We Cover

PKM-1 covers moringa end to end: cultivation and agronomy, processing and quality, global trade and markets, and the science behind the crop. That includes cultivars such as PKM-1, PKM-2, and ODC-3, and product forms from leaf powder to seed oil, tea cut, and seed cake.

Our editorial focus is deliberately narrow. We do not cover unrelated botanicals, synthetic isolates, or commodity agriculture outside of their bearing on moringa. One crop, covered in depth, is where we can be genuinely useful to the people who grow, process, trade, and formulate it.

Editorial Standards

Every claim we publish is sourced and verifiable. We do not publish speculative market intelligence, unattributed industry gossip, or content that has not been reviewed for factual accuracy. When we are uncertain, we say so. When the science is contested, we present the state of the evidence honestly rather than defaulting to the most commercially convenient interpretation. We do not make medical claims.

We do not accept payment or other consideration in exchange for editorial coverage. Companies and individuals featured in our articles are selected solely on the basis of newsworthiness and relevance to our readership. Product recommendations are a separate, clearly labeled surface: they may carry affiliate links, and those links never decide what the journal covers or how it reports.

Masthead & Ownership

PKM-1 is published by Wiaterra. Publisher: Joseph Verdi. Editorial operations are led by founding editor Priya Raman. Business and sponsorship inquiries reach the publisher through our contact page. Advertising never influences coverage; our full policies live on the Editorial Standards page.

Reporting Bad Actors

The moringa trade, like any trade, has actors who misrepresent their products, falsify certification documentation, or engage in practices that harm buyers, end consumers, and the integrity of the broader market. We take this seriously.

PKM-1 maintains a confidential tip line for industry professionals who wish to report certification fraud, mislabeled products, adulterated material, or other misconduct. We are not an enforcement agency, but we have relationships with regulatory professionals, certification bodies, and investigative journalists who are. Anonymous tips can be submitted through our contact page.

We will protect the identity of sources who come to us in confidence. We will not publish allegations without conducting reasonable due diligence, and we will always seek comment from any party we intend to name before publication.
