Priya Raman is the founding editor of PKM-1, with a decade covering botanical supply chains and a focus on moringa: cultivation and agronomy, processing and quality, global trade, and the science behind the crop.

Her reporting follows moringa from the field to the finished product: seed selection and cultivar performance, leaf drying and powder quality, seed pressing for oil, and the certification and testing standards that move product across borders. She has tracked crop and trade developments across India, Ghana, Nicaragua, Kenya, and the Philippines, and writes on organic and food-safety compliance for growers, processors, and buyers.
